windowserver crash sierra

The window server keeps crashing abruptly and logs me off since updating to 10.12 on my macbook pro. Any solution?

Here are the logs:

Seeing this message in the WindowServer crash report:

abort() called

IOSurface creation failed with size [2268 x 2826]. If size looks sane, this is likely due to IOSurface leak and system IOSurface limit reached.

This is an iMac 5K 27" late 2014. A moment ago also in 10.12.1. So irritating. In 10.12.0 it used to appear so that Safari started behaving oddly (things start missing from web pages), and after some tens of seconds WindowServer crashes and I am thrown to the login screen. This time I was in Mail and it started behaving oddly (parts of messages missing), and then the WindowServer crash.
